Terms & Conditions

1. General Provisions

Agreement of Terms: By booking any service (Cleaning, Moving, or Junk Hauling), the customer acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Right to Refuse Service: House Heroes reserves the right to deny, pause, or terminate service to any customer or property for any reason at our sole discretion, including but not limited to safety concerns, hostile environments, or inaccurate job descriptions.
Non-Solicitation: The customer agrees not to hire, or attempt to hire, any House Heroes employee for private services outside of this contract for a period of 12 months following the service date.

In-Person Quoting: House Heroes requires a minimum of two (2) business days’ advanced notice for any work requiring an in-person estimate.
Accessibility & Convenience: House Heroes will not be responsible for providing services in any rooms, spaces, or areas that are not accessible through safe, conventional, or convenient means. We will not enter spaces that require specialized climbing equipment, crawling through unsafe structures, or navigating extreme clutter that poses a trip hazard.
Contract Scope: Services are strictly limited to the rooms and tasks specified in the signed contract or written quote. House Heroes is under no obligation to clean or clear any space not explicitly mentioned during the quoting process.

Utilities Requirement: The customer must ensure the property has functioning electricity and running water. If utilities are disconnected, House Heroes reserves the right to cancel the service, and a mobilization fee will apply.
Condition of Surfaces: We utilize professional-grade cleaners; however, we are not liable for permanent staining or damage to surfaces that have been neglected or improperly maintained prior to our arrival.

Hidden Junk & Weight: Quotes are based on the volume and items described during quoting. House Heroes reserves the right to adjust pricing or refuse removal if the actual volume or weight (e.g., concrete, dirt, roofing) exceeds the initial description.
Transfer of Ownership: Once junk or debris is loaded onto a House Heroes vehicle, ownership transfers to House Heroes for disposal, recycling, or donation.
Furniture & Fragiles: House Heroes is not liable for the structural integrity of "ready-to-assemble" furniture (e.g., particleboard/IKEA) or items not packed by our professional team.
Parking & Permits: The customer is responsible for ensuring legal parking/loading zones are available. Any parking tickets, tolls, or permit fees incurred during the service will be added to the final invoice.

Prohibited Items: For the safety of our staff, House Heroes will not clean, move, or interact with:
Biohazards: Mold, lead paint, asbestos, pest infestations (rodents/insects), or bodily fluids.
Weapons: Firearms, ammunition, or tactical weaponry.
Chemicals: Volatile substances, heavy industrial chemicals, or unlabeled liquids.
Discovery Protocol: If hazardous materials are discovered mid-service, work will cease immediately in that area, and the customer will be billed for the full duration of the scheduled block.

Property Damage: House Heroes shall not be held liable for any damages sustained to the property, including but not limited to minor scuffs, scratches on flooring, or pre-existing plumbing/electrical issues discovered during the cleaning or moving process.
Claims: Any claims for damage must be submitted in writing with photographic evidence within 24 hours of service completion.

Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service time may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Deposits must be made upon confirmation of booking, and may be issues during, or after the work contract is agreed upon and or signed by both parties.
Payment: Payment is due in full upon completion of the service unless prior written arrangements have been made.
